Guardian Home Commitments
Becoming a Guardian Home is both a privilege and a partnership. We ask that each Guardian family provides the love, care, and consistency needed to help our dogs thrive while they’re part of our breeding program.
As a Guardian Home, you agree to:
Provide a Safe and Loving Home
A stable, loving home helps puppies feel safe and confident. Consistent routines and care allow them to grow into happy, well-adjusted dogs.
Close Location
Reside within 50-70 miles from our central location, to allow for convenient coordination and visits.
Financial
Cover all expenses unrelated to breeding, such as food, grooming, etc.
Maintain Regular Veterinary Care
Care such as vaccinations, and grooming as needed.
Excellent Physical and Emotional Health
Commit sufficient time to training, socialization, and spending affectionate moments with the dog through exercise, training, and socialization.
Flexibility and Communicate Promptly
Be willing to accommodate occasional visits and share about any health, behavioral, or care concerns.
Make Available for Breeding-Related Appointments
As scheduled by Not Just Golden Doodles.
Refrain from any outside breeding
All breeding decisions will be managed by Not Just Golden Doodles.
Remains the Property of Not Just Golden Doodles
Until their breeding career is completed, after which full ownership will be transferred to the Guardian family.
